African cichlids have a tolerance for a bit, but even then they won’t last long.
Guy selling marine eels. I notice an albino pleco inside there… plecos can live in saltwater???

Hard to make out if that’s a pleco, does look like one though. To my knowledge, no pleco can live in saltwater and that will soon be dead.

It is an albino pleco. I rewatched the video again, there’s African cichlids and a goldfish in there as well?? Maybe it’s the opposite; the marine eel is in a freshwater tank??! Is that possible??

Either way, I see a really dead eel or some really dead fw fish…
Maybe they were in as feeders for the eel?

Likely to be brackish or low-end brackish. Those smaller fish appear to be pink tilapia, which have a good tolerance for salinity and can be found in mangroves here in Singapore (escapees from fish farms). They are also a common feeder fish species in Asia.

Not sure why the goldfish is there though, don't think it's a feeder since it's one of the fancy varieties (I believe it's a ranchu?).

They’re used to be tilapia in the salton sea which has a higher salinity than the ocean

First EVER time seeing lungfish for sale at a fish store in Singapore. I thought they were illegal??

anyone can identify the fish at the back of the blue tank as well? Looks like a pike?

Cool!
Could you highlight the fish in the pic? None of them look like pike to me.
