The best thing to do is get a young strong coloured one and feed it up well on feed like hikari gold.

Thats what mines is feeding on now but for some reason hes not really eaten it . He is currently about 5/ 5.5inch and seems to have stayed like that for about 2 months now .

Every two weeks i throw in a couple of Prawns and he goes straight for them along with a couple for cubes of frozen Bloodworm .
