Hi Daren,

My guess is this was the result of a single bite from the Heterobranchus (vundu).

Looks to be healing well.

Ok thank you rich.erm not sure what to do now.other than her colour gone a little pale from moving her shes nearly 100 percent recovered.shall i give her another week alone then try again keeping extra eye on her.im coming in tomorrow morning as i missed you last time....who said you were allowed to take holiday lol.

I came back in half way through my holiday for Bank holiday Monday, I'm still off now till Monday.

Yes give her another week and most of all make sure she is feeding well before releasing her. It may be a one off but like you said keeping a close eye on things is the way to go.

I'd highly recommend not moving him around much and let him have his own tank for few years maybe with some rays much smaller than him. These rays are not hardy like Leo's and a switch can flip on them just like that . Long term captive flower/tigers are rare for a reason.
