He's about 4 inches in a 120 rite now I have three fluval 406 an a uv light . He's with about 15 tetras I have the temp at 85 an ph at 8. He's been eating algae wafers . I have a resting platform ne'er the surface I read ppl sum times use them think I need it an UVB UVA light are they needed ? Any advice will help thx

ThxA friend of mine sed he new a guy who was selling 1 had to pick it up
 
FRTs do not need to bask.

Think uvb is not a necessity for them. At least I see most keepers just keeping them in normal aquariums that don't seem to have it.

So I'll take the UVB light off but what should I supplement it in the food with
