New Free Aro

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Haaa a little hasty on the numbers! It is actually JUST under 2.5ft. (my guestimate was a little way out)
But she is my beast, and I think she has made a pretty good improvement..

Day 1, just collected her from someone keeping her in a 4ft tank with crap water. No barbels, bruises, missing scales, fin rot, bad condition:

Here she is a few months ago. All fins recovered, no bruises, both barbells back and eating and growing like a champ! :

:drool: Beautiful Black! How wide is it? 2.5"-3"?
nice... i kinda want one now. howd u get it for free???
Thanks. I got it from my friend. :)

Wide as in top of back to bottom of stomach? if so its about 6" maybe more?
thickness about 3-4"? Not really sure, I will try measure later
Wide=thickness. :) 6" tall? Dam that's a massive Black Aro. Measure please. :)

nice pickup Hao... the barbels will grow back in no time... it will take awhile but it will grow back.... my 2 blacks got scared 1 day and hit the side of the tank and their barbels fell off but then it started to grow back after awhile.... just give it some good TLC and it'll b good as new...

@ tokyogasmask nice black aro bro

Thanks man. I usually use big fish bags(double bagged) to move my Aros(no injury). I thought the owner had a bag/big net, so I just brought a container. :grinno:
