Very nice, how big was he when you first got him. I went back to the first page but didnt see any mention of its size.

Hope you have him for many Armati (3 year periods).........

I used to love Armatus more then anyone...... Now give me the choice of an Armatus or similar sized ATF, hate to say it but I'm going ATF.......
 
Wow db I'm surprised that atf over army. At the point im at with them armatus ftw
Maybe I'll change my mind once he gets moved from grow out tank.

Very nice. I've yet to own an army but large atf are pretty impressive.
 
Believe me, I'm surprised myself...... Never really got into ATF and I don't really know why. Bala sharks were always a favorite when growing up....

I've got my biggest Tatf in a 180 right now with my Pearl who tries to break the lids every time he sees me. He (Tatf) bolts every now and then but I'd never expect an Armatus to last a month in that tank if it was the same size. I'm guessing the ATF to be 17-18". It's just such an impressive fish I can't even walk by the tank without taking a bit to just gawk at it. So graceful. I guess I was turned off by the skittishness, but after raising some Tatf I wonder if they are just a bolder species, but my Vatf acts the same, so I wonder if I wasn't put off all these years by here say? IF they were that skittish I'd have some in the freezer, but any losses have been predatory and 100% explainable.

I see the skittishness in my Gatf, but seems the personalities differ greatly, some report very bold Gatf......

To me, they just don't seem as full of hate as Armatus either.... lol.
