White Saums used to be common round here, not seen any for ages but the lfs had hundreds of them about 2 years ago, a few adults to, i had a group of them but they were taking to long to grow so i traded them in.

I brought my 3 GT home today. I was expecting all gold saum but one of them is a silver, maybe two, but the second possible silver is to young to tell.

What are you feeding?

im feeding hik cichlid gold, freeze dried krill,crickets,freezedried bloodworms

That same thing happened here... a few years ago every fish store(localy owned or major retailer) had Green Terror/Gold Suam and slowly less and less stores started carrying them and now if you want a GT around here you have to have them special ordered by the stores or purchase online yourself, which is how i aquired my GT that i now breed =)
I did ask a pet store one time why they were no longer carrying GT(as i wanted to buy some) and was told its because they have a very hard time moving them and that other cichlids are more popular/easy to move. Dont see how as GT are one of the better looking cichlids imo... but who knows...
 
guys i moved my green terror into a 20 gallon all alone becasue my dempseys hittin him real hard , hes got a couple fins missing and i dont like were this is going, im gonna raise him in the 20 until i see that he has enough wieght to fight back....its just for the fishes sake ya know
 
For a couple hours, probably not too bad. Not good, but he won't die from it. Poor lil dude is having a bad week
