That high of temperature is what most of us use to help cure sick fish, so he'll be fine. Just make sure to cool it back down slowly, nothing drastic.

unfortunately it swung back down to like 74-75 but im climbing it up to 79-80. he looks fine tho I just got another green terror his size and he tbh he hates the thing, hes been ruthlessly chasing and nipping it. if hes that active I guess hes okay its not like in the wild these fish don't experience warm to cold temps and vice versa, if anything it strengthens him

Thanks man. Yeah, his thickness is genetics coupled with twice a day feeding of Omega One, Hikari and frozen Blood worms or Krill every week. He is 6 pushing 7 inches. His dad had the same build.

my lil guy is really aggressive tho he claimed the entire 20 gal, hes just ruthless to other fish i add, its wierd i havent owned a gt in so long i forgot how mean they cud be
