New growout running. How long will it last?

Rock on! Glad I'm not the only one that thinks this way. I know I still have hope. Dorado and Armatus would be a priceless sight to see in the same tank.

I have never owned an ATF of any kind but from what I understand of them they are very different then Dorado personality wise. I think the only way to get Armatus and Dorado to get along would be to dump Redelin in the tank when WCs are done. The Dorado would have to be slowed down somehow. Their activity level is high enough to drive any fish to commit harmful acts towards them. Very similar to people that talk non stop, sometimes you just want to silence them. In the fish world the only way to make an annoying non stop moving fish stop moving is to do what Armatus do best... Run those fangs into things. The effects of these 2 fish in the same tank is like tequila. 12 hours together and it takes weeks to make things right with all parties involved.

Some recent pics.

Gonna have to move some stuff around. Smallest Armatus getting punked and 3/4 Odoes not enjoying life.

4/5 Armatus are currently accepting smelt on a regular basis. The stubborn one caved last night and ate smelt but refused again tonight.

Allready tossed the Aro into the 300 to test the Cynos. So far they appear happy to have tankmates. No tattered fins in the next few days and the biggest Armatus will go in. Provideed the Cynos accept I'll begin moving the rest.

Once Armatus are in the 300 the smaller growout will get a spray bar to cut down on current and hopefully the Odoes will snap back into a growth spurt. My CB Ray will also join along with the other 2 runt Odoes.

Don't know what to do with the Dorado shoal yet.... LOL

Anyone wanna help decide?

I have no probs with my atf and armatus so far. I'm just trying to keep them both well fed.
