Hey everyone, new guy here
Love the site and all the help it has given me thus far. I was hoping you guys could give me some tips, advice, or just comment on my tanks! thanks

I'm semi new to the hobby so if I'm doing something really wrong help me! haha
I have a mix of South american cichlids, sharks, catfish, clown loaches, plecos, and a turtle in this tank! I made some of my own lighting with 3 x 24" aquarium lights, and 2 48" strip l ights.
It has a fluvall 405 cannister filter that seems to get the job done? and I only use a 150 watt heater but the tank stays right around 80..
It has about 30 fish is this to many, not enough?

Here is my smaller 30 gallon. It has a mix of tetras, gourami, green spotted puffer, freshwater lionfish, black ghost knife and my favorite the elephant nose. It also houses that cute little turtle who is always eager to meet me in the morning
As always, any help is always appreciated thanks guys!!
