New guy here...210 tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I am watching blacklist.........and the fish died at the conclusion of a long, happy, well fed life. But the good news.........it was still a chain pickerel when it died. Sorry Bret. :-)

The tank is now a yellow perch and bluegill tank. Very nice and they are much easier to take care of in the very cold months when I am not as likely to be fishing for suitable food to feed my bigger predators. Blood worms, earthworms, and flake food are readily available all year and they readily eat all of it.

Oh, and there is one (maybe 2?) smallish american eels living in there in secrecy. They are never visible but apparently they come out only at night to poke around the tank. I put a couple in there to feed my bass back in the day and one took up residence in a log. I hadn't seen anything in over a YEAR and then one night I flipped the light on and POOF! An eel had appeared LOL. Pretty cool actually. Now when we come home and pull in the garage at night my wife and kids make a game out of it. Anyone see the eel!!?? Haha We are successful about once every three months.
