awsome fish!! i love gars, there hard to get here were im at, especialy now in winter, the only thing ive ben able to get is a Rocket Gar, but they dont get very big, and there not even realy a gar, mines only about 6 inches long rite now, but hes fun to watch eat rosie reds, lol.

Actually rocket gars are part of the gar famaly but considdered a needle nose gar......

rocket gar are from the family Belonidae and gar are from the family Lepisosteidae
