How long have you kept pacus for?
 
he just got read first post it was a rescue.... i'm bad about implus buying...:( i end up with to many fish i don't have room for right now...lol

I just didn't know if it was his first one of not.
Just watch him for a while. You will see that they make toys out of everything possible. I see a filter tube in the pic. It will be chewed in no time. Also, lots of pacus die from chewing the cords on their heaters and powerheads. Personally, I wouldn't put the time and money into a lined pond, because I know how pacus are. Actually, I wouldn't trust them with wood, either. If they hit the plywood in between the framework, I wouldn't doubt they could damage the tank. They are very strong and quite destructive.
 
not very long at all, but i know everything there is to know about them. I have never seen a pond liner, i dont know how thick thin or what they are.
