  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Apparently not, good luck on the project, please post soon

Got wood for the frame work , going to start the frame next week some time when ever i have a spare day or 2 . Then after the frame work it will be save up for liner , pumps , Ect and then wait 'til my Grandad can do the electrics for me .

Pictures when i get it done hopefully , if i can get my camra working , as i have said before i think that mine is broken , so hopefully i ever can get this one working or find a new one .

Very slow progress i know , Sorry . :( But it will get done soon .

Thank you .

Cannt wait 'til its all done and i have fish in it . :D

From the drawing i posted up a few posts back show you all the size of the pond i am building . Do you all think the shed can/ will support the weight of the water in in the shed , or should i think about making the pond a little smaller in size ?

Saying that it still would need to be big enough for my Silver Arowana .

Right basicly a little change for now :( , but hopfully in a year or i can build a better , nicer and larger raised pond with liner , ect .

But for now i am having to get a Fiberglass pond ( 7x5x2Foot ) rectangled shaped pond . :) which is going to be smaller than what i was hoping to build myself but will be bigger enough for the Silver Awo' for aleast 2 -3Years . So its not too bad .

Electrics are all in so next months i am hoping to pickup the Fibergalss pond along with the filter , pump and heaters . Found a beeter and more sutible Filter for this pond and am going to go with 3 maybe 4 250Watt tank heaters instead of getting that 1000Watt exturnal one i was thinking on getting before .

Cannt remember if i asked this before but if i was wanting to put my 2 Common Pleco's into the pond along with my Silver Awo' ,

Would it be ok or not ?

Or would they end up wrecking the Fiberglass and putting a hole though it ?

They are about 11 Inch and 13 Inch head - tail aswell as very fat .

Glass ! ! ! . . .

Sorry i am not asking that , im asking putting 2 largeish Common Pleco's in a Fiberglass pond , a good idea or not ?!

.
.
.

Cost of pond - the whole thing i have no idea , i am not counting :) , so i dont get
put off doing it .

cost of just the Fiberglass pond about £275.00 ,

give or take a couple of £ .

Anyways Welcome to MFK ! :D
