New indoor/ shed Trop' pond idea .

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i meant fiber glass lol it designed to be used in all weather outdoors for decades a few plecs wont cause any harm

I'd of thought you would get away with it if you whent for thick butyle of something. Theyed have to spent a hell of a long time rasping at the same spot to make a hole. I'd still go with the fiberglass pond though coz u can sell it when u upgrade.

The big main pond which was going for to be mainly for my Silver Awo' never went a head . :(

Silver Awo' jumped out the the tank it was in and killed its self , ( a 14inch fish jumped out of a gap about 1.5 - 2inch big ) . :(

so i have just made a smaller pond for my 3 Turtles and the just put my 2 100Gal tanks in the shed too . :)

But i am currently thinking on selling everthing now , See link for prices ~

All the people in this sites are truly engineers they all having diagram with them of new plans that's really nice. Its nice that we actually think before making anythings so we could decide its prones and cones. Thanks for posting.

The running costs of a shed in Engkand would be huge to heat unless you used more suitable insulation, celotex is the product to use, 2 inches is like 4 of the fluffy fibre glass and is coated in silver foiled to reflect heat. Expensive but a one off cost as opposed to ongoing massive heating bill. 5 300 watt heater wouldn't keep up in winter. You also need to cover the pond and use a double glazed window and the very least a curtain before you close the door.

The pond would have needed to have been covered for an aro too....sorry to hear that it died.

At least this project is a good lesson for us in terms of what is needed.

Thanks for the updates
