yes he has a male head shape and the lips. that is what I go by . works everytime. You have a very nice male ! Mine was a rescue who had the living heck beat out of him . Im surprised I brought him back to life . Took a few months but he is finally starting to take off even though he is a bit deformed I still love the little guy hehe. Your fish coloring is beautiful !

Male look at the "tube" in the second pic....I'm growing out some from Florida can't wait until they get bigger.....
