Need help from NJ members, taking a road trip and would like to make stops either heading to or from SA, PetShanty,Absolutefish. What other lfs stock oddballs in the area? I'm looking in that general vicinity. i.e. Aarons Pets was a sleeper, had nice selection, too bad they closed.

Vic the guy that owned Aaron's works in a store called Trop Aquarium in Eatontown, NJ on Rt. 35. I haven't been there yet my self but I've been meaning to go over there and see what that place is about just haven't had the time.

thanks but it's off course by the shore, thought there was one just south of Pet Shanty. Guess it's those 3 only then

Ocean Gallery is on 22 (East). IF your coming from by SA, you will need to go past Pet Shanty. Use to be a good store, but the past couple years its slection has gotten poor. But if your doing a road trip to a bunch of LFS, it may be worth looking around.

isnt aquascape around there?

Pet shanty might surprise you they get in some good stuff. Also google them they have a website and keep a pretty up to date stock list.

Just came back and happen to see Ocean Gallery (near Ray's). Unfortunately, nothing besides, pirahnas, oscars, and typical cichilds. Did see "Gibbus" which is similar to vampire tetras but too small. 2"
Got me another Dat (huge) 11" from SA. It was in w/ large marble cat, black as night. Took a chance and it brighten up once in my tank. It had existing damage on dorsal fin & received cut above right eye from being tossed in the bucket.
