That kind one reason i got the oscar so he can he eating and my had a long time ago would always be at the top looking for food so i thougt maybe he would.pick that up from. But he come to the top and swim around and look at the pellet and swim around it but im keep at it until he gets it

How big were your kelberis when u got them from petzone?

Anyone else has experience with petzone and cichlas being the correct species they claim to be selling?

He is around 2.5 inches only thing is they kind told a lie bout the peacock eating pellets other then that he fine and good place to buy fish

I think I understand what your saying but not 100%. So the kelberi is in good shape but wont eat pellets.....is that correct?

Yup other than that he fine and doing really good with the oscar he may be eating few pellets when out of the room but when im around he wont touch them

If you plan on getting one get some feeder guppies for back up jus and case he doesnt take to pellets

They actually do eat pellets. I bought 4 of them from petzonsd. 3 from the new shop and 1 from the old shop which has ich. only 3 of them eats pellets and 1 doesn't. but i managed to train the 1 that doesn't eat pellets to eat pellets by throwing in freeze dried bloodworms for 3 days then throw in crushed mini sinking cichlid gold pellets after that i worked my way up to non-crushed pellets
