Guppies on the other hand, that is a different story. lol. So the group of 5 Kelberi I got last Tues polished off approx 150 guppies ($10) in about a 5-5.5 day span. Damn, its gonna get expensive, especially since they are only 2". lol.

I feed all the above items on a regular basis. I do feel that small Cichla need live to thrive. As they hit the 6'' mark is when I would start feeding other options such as frozen Fish/Silversides/Pellet's. If you don't want to feed Live then try some shrimp/tilapia/scallops/mussels cut up of course. GL with the challange ahead of you.
