Nice to hear from you again Arapaimaman. Yea, Zebra Knives are def. slow growers. I haven't notice much growth in mine.
And the Carapo may have to be in a tank by himself, but I'd like to take a look at the aggression first. I always have a back-up.;):)

lol, the suspense...:nilly:
I do believe that this specimen was collected in Brazil, and from what I have learned Carapo Knives are found in Brazil and Venezuela, which means it can have a different pattern, color, body shape, etc. than the other.
Just can't wait for this Knife to arrive.:D

I feel like this waiting period is the MFK equivalent to for kids not being able to fall asleep before Christmas....it's just not fair it hasn't come yet! Can't wait to see pictures though. Oh, and I'm rooting for you that he's not aggressive - what would his tankmates be int he 60 gallon?

lol
He has arrived! And I must say, he is fairly large. Just a stunning Knife, and in perfect condition. I have some pics, but I will have to get them onto my laptop first, and they aren't the best. Just a few pics I took after releasing him into the tank. The 60-Gallon consists on multiple Catfish, Cichlids, and a few Oddballs. (TT Eel, NN Gar, Rope/Reed Fish, etc.)
Give me a few min. to get the pics.:D

nice...it also looks wicked...i mean look at it, dosen't it look like it would shank you in a heart beat...the knife collector has gone to the dark side and has become the wicked collector....
