Yes I always seperate my pups, I have several large rays in there reaching 30+ inches across so little Norbert would just be a snack...
 
Your motoros were breeding too much with too many pups?" Wow, what a 'tough' situation to be in! If only I can get there some day.
 
I knoew it sounds crazy, but I gave away sooo many rays & traded to fish stores, but I knew that most likely only a few would make it so I decided to stop breeding motoros, or at least not as often. I almost always have rays to give away to people who are ready to take care of one. Although this is my first true black ray to have live births & I will continue to breed these guys, because they are soo fun to have..
