Yeah, the knock on NLS is that their pellets tend to be too small. I'm just trying out Hikari Cichlid Bio-Gold Plus right now, bought 3 packs of 2 oz mini pellets. Should last me at least 4 months I think. I'll see how my Mota and festae look after that. I like the fact that NLS uses whole ingredients.

woot i just bought some hikari food sticks..

i guess the best way to really confirm which one is better for me is the comparison test.

will let you know results on which food the fish liked better! haha.. btw thnx cr8on & silverdragon =)

I use them all, I have hikari, NLS, etc vary the fishes diet it will keep them happier!

grr maybe im impatient but both my jar and my pbass still don't go for the pellets..

regardless of brand (NLS/Hikari)!

maybe i just need to starve them a bit and have more patience! hehehe.. thanks for all your feedback guys! i'll let you know how they go pellet training...
