nothing in mind... just whatever caught my eye. I need a top swimmer in my tank though. all of my fish stay at the bottom.

The hoplarchus in the tank are outgrowing my geo's by probably an inch a month.

Thanks bro, There are 14 Geo's in the tank and 4 Hoplarchus. lol. they are all still small though, none over 3" and i can't wait till they get bigger
 
hehe i thought atinic light ( blue) is usually for saltwater to create that blue ocean feel ^^;; for freshwater, personally i like adding one of those pink red light, that would make the fish's color show more :D but either way, since ur light is so bright, it doesnt really matter xD the blue got covered by white i guess...
 
Sunset is moving? Is this the Sunset Aquarium on Sunset and Glendale (closest cross street I can think of right now) or a different one?

i knew i shouldda listened to my instincts.. i asked the guy taht worked there and he was like blue would be better and in my head i remember or reading about the pink/red ones giving better color..

ahhh ohh welll maybe i will swap it out sometime.. bulbs are pretty cheap only $20 a pop.

the one on valley, yeah they are moving but its just right around the corner..
 
anyone got a picture of a tank with 50/50 lights white and red/pink?

i searched and i couldnt find anything.
