New lighting on (well, above) the 300

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I wish I could build stuff. I can analyze a fifth degree polynomial, I am excellent in language, math, and science, I have a boat load of common sense yet do not have the patience to do a wet dry or a great lighting system. Why can't I make shi*? LOL

what is a polynomial
i couldn't tell you but if you want me to build you a wet/dry let me know

That's what I am talking about. I know HOW to build a wet dry, I will just do a crap job and fail. I hate that I know how but can't do.

Example: I know lots about car stereos, I installed mine myself and it worked for months. The problem was that the wiring was subpar because I did a crap job, and I had to hire a dope to redo it for me. That guy didn't know what a book was, but when it came to saudering and wire placement, he kicked my ass.

Nice tank rallysman......

lookin good.
i would lower the light to almost the tank.
i dont like the bright glare with it up.
i like just seeing the light in the tank. :)

I would do that, but I wanted to make it easier to access the tank:)

ok how bout this.
bring the light about an inch above it.
then put a hook on the wall behind it.
then add a chain to the back of the light.
then when you want in the tank,
push the light back and hook it temporarily.
:D

I might give that a shot:) I'll play with the height and try to figure out what I like best.
