Reguardless of color and plumline, you shouldnt need that to change your mind, those are stress bars, not convict bars, hence you shouldn't of used that to get the basis that it was part convict to begin with...should of read my whole post.
 
ok i have a new problem. according the petstore employee he has had this fish in the store and rasing it for 3 weeks since they came in. I asked what has it been eating and they said feeder guppies. already bad news, i really hate when petstores do this, i lost a chance at some nice pbass babies once because they fed them live and i knew it was going to be heck if at all to get them off live. so now my little guy isnt eating any kind of food. do i really have to try live again? if so how do i get him off? i found it odd that a 1 1/2" fish is eating 1/2" guppies. :screwy: so halp! what do i do?

You could just wait it out- he should take pellets eventually. I personally would try with bits of shrimp- the smell should get him to hit it.
 
Garlic is known to be an appetite enhancer, you could try flakes or pellets w/ that, or add it to whatever. I know omega I sells at least marine flakes w/it, as thats what I use for my SW.

and not yet, his pattern changed a bit. and im trying to get him to eat other things before i take more pictures im going crazy i really like him i hope he eats sooon!:nilly::nilly::nilly:
