New Mahseer Pickups

Yeah I bought 3 from exotics. They're labeled as golden mahseer but they're actually thai blue mahseer. I have a true golden mahseer from fugupuff. There are 3 blue mahseers left at exotics

They eat a lot and are super active. They're definitely cool fish. I'm going to grab the others if they are still there whenever I'm up there again.

Does the golden have any noticeable growth yet? I've heard they're painfully slow growers so I'm curious to see how your fish's growth will be.

Nope not at all. He still looks the same and I heard the same about goldens as well. I'll try to update his growth monthly. As far as I know, I don't think anyone has a thread documenting the growth of their putitora so it will be interesting.

I honestly don't know if they occur in Malaysia but I do know they occur in thailand though. They're known as blue kelah or thai blue mahseer(neolissochilus stracheyi) but I'm not sure about malay blue. A pic would help and my guys are 3-4 inches as well. Was it the store located in Azusa? I know they had some.
