New Midas

saw this little guy at petsmart
he was labeled as a Midas
the others were nore mottled in color and this guy had this beautiful color and great finnage started already
hes maybe 2 inches long at most!

I thought he showed some real potential so I got him

Petsmart actually has some good strains of Midas. Here is mine, although he looks more RD than Midas.

Thanks guys. He's really showing some personality already. I have two options for him as he gets bigger... have a four foot 60 gallon and a 135. Think the 60 will be big enough for him alone? The 135 I kind of had other plans for and my 240 and 180 are alre.ady spoken for.

My Petsmart Midevil looked a little like this except mine had white patches on its gill plates. I think yours has better fins than mine did at the same size. It should grow to be a looker.

Give him the 135, he will thank you for it. Better turning room that the 12" deep (I presume) 60
