Nice Midas, should turn out to be a monster.
I purchased a Petsmart "Midas" and have raised it since also the 2" mark. He has developed into a nice orange and white fish with definite leanings toward the big bulky look of a Midas. He is actually one of the mellowest Midas I have ever owned and has allowed tankmates on many different occasions. He has not grow as large as I thought he would, only 10" after 2 years, but he is well proportioned and healthy. Who knows maybe he will have a growth spurt when he goes from the 120g to his new 210g home.
