ok guyshat cat i was looking for is a megalodoras uranoscopus and needs a ph of 7.5 so it will prob not survive in my tank as the ph will be 7.0 which is a big diff for a catfish, so i might just go with what MultispeciesTamer said.

also a niger cat and a fire eel, my lfs has a fire eel for £30 and he quite big so i think those 3 fish will well stock my tank for a few years.

if the fire eel was with the rtc and tsn he would be doe food they get 30" and are 5" across max like one big worm to them !!! but niger catfish ok i had one before aswell !

The catfish in that video is a Niger: aka what you were looking for... Type in pseudodoras niger. That is what Dieselmack used to have. Whoops. Shoulda been more specific, he has a megalodoras and a niger in there, they look really similar besides the mouth.

The megalodoras is a catfish from South America it requires a PH of 6.5-7.0... It will be fine in your tank. Also, this cat is VERY rarely imported from SA... You will probably never see this in a LFS and will more than likely have to order from a vendor on here or even ask if they can get one.

your rtc would probably eat the fire eel. they arent notorious for there appetites for no reason. if it can fit in there mouth (which any fire eel could) they will eat it.

theres really not that many mean catfishes. id sharks grow as big as rtcs so they're pretty good.
