Ok, I'm really out of of it, never heard of New Moon, but I wanted to ask what the term emo meant. Anybody??
 
My wife read the series and found it entertaining. She had me read it and I couldn’t get through the first book. Lots of mopey, whiny girl crap. I can understand why young girls are attracted to this…every other line was describing how wonderful and perfect Edward is.

The vampires in the mythos are sorry….In my mind Vampire’s in sun equal dust, not sparkly glitter.

Bella is very 2-dimensional and her sole purpose is to mope over sparkly….He’s not there and she wants to die. Very riveting. :barf:

The first movie was horrible, even my avid fan of a wife admits that. No where near interested in any sequels.

My take on it – ‘And then Buffy staked Edward. The end.’

I agree this a totally stupid fad... The movies looked stupid and I wouldn't even look at the books. In my opinion real vampire movies actually have blood.

Oh jeez and I work at a college and even some 20 some odd years old, got those stupid vampire teeth caps... What is the world coming too :[

Now I understand, mopey whiny girl crap :barf: Still don't understand the emo thing. I can identify them, but don't know what their "thing" is. In my day we just called them dorks.
 
I think it's complete and total idiocracy, right along with the emo fad. I have punched my share of "emo's" at shows and feel pretty much the same about all this twilight business. I hate it more than I hate holidays (ex. Christmas, Valentines, etc...), which is saying something.
 
Just watched New Moon....Damn the next one is going to be good. Damn this was a good movie....all I can say.

I must be a romance kinda guy, I loved both. I could seriously watch it again.
