Very nice! Wish I could have made it out.

lol I'll try and give you more than a 3 hour notice next time.

Just an update all the fish are doing well they ate a few feeders and some chopped up night crawlers already. I did a risky thing but I put them in the big tank already but I needed the 55 for a new batch of feeders. They all swam around after a bit of sitting there looking around like "now where the hell am I?"
I thought I was going to have some problems with the other pumpkinseed and the new one because as soon as he saw the new guy he went gills all flared out and did some top gun type fly buys and bumps on the newbie then they both flared out a bit at each other but luckily after about only 10 min they each picked a side of the tank and I havent seen any aggression since. camera is charging but as soon as its done I'll snap a few pics.

Very good thing to hear. I can't wait to see update pics!

Got some nice pics of the new guys. The Warmouth seems to have gone to a Gold color now. I'm pretty sure once I get all the plants in there he'll get his camo back on.

I think its more of a color change to match his surroundings. When I shine the flashlight in the tank he's under the end of the log and all marked up and darker like he was when we caught him. Lower/no light = darkens up to blend in. lights on = lightens up to blend in. I think when I get all the plants in (and there will be A LOT!) he will darken up and get all those vertical stripes showing again. He has a FAT belly from hoarding the chopped up night crawlers and pellets I toss in after the lights are out and hes gulped a few feeders down as well. The perch have also been slamming their fair amount of night crawlers and feeders and the new pumpkinseed is already eating pellets from watching the other guys eat. One thing I have noticed tho is all the new guys knew from the first moment they went in the tank to stay clear of the gars all except the geo that doesn't seems to care and even turns to his side when the gars get real close to try and say "I'm big and mean" but they don't even give him a second look which I guess says something about SA cichlid mentality. :D

Those natives are awesome!:headbang2
and I love your set up! *extream jealousy* I need to find some better wood to plant in mine, and actually get real plants in there... then it will be good.

The perch and pumpkinseeds have really nice color/pattern. Wish my perch would pattern up like that. They were when I caught them... I think I need to change some substrate around and they will color up a bit better.

Well done. Can't wait til the plants are in and growing. I am a huge fan of warmouth's since I was a kid. Can't believe the size of their mouths compared to body size. You can lip a 4" warmouth to remove hooks!

Now you need to start a new video....

Feeding.
