Who thought up this crap?!????!!!! Maybe they should suspend the refs above the field on wires inside plexiglass bubbles. It really hurts QBs, esp ones that work like Manning and may decide to quick-snap or catch a 12th player trying to leave the field. There HAS TO BE a better way to protect the refs. This is the kind of scat that will decide games. Stupid.

Indy has been my favorite team to watch over the last 8 years and i've probably watched more indy games then any other team but I kinda think what manning does with this trying to catch an extra man running off the field is weak. It's football, suppose to be one of the manliest sports and they're trying to gain extra yards by trickery? Man up and beat your opponents the way it's meant to be played. Just bad Karma, probably why with all those winning seasons and playoff runs they only have one superbowl ring.

The rules will change again, probably making the umpire ( not refs ) wear protective gear or something. Maybe they need younger more athlectic umpires that can jump out of the way???
I do appreciate manning and the colts offense and root for them every playoffs (and they're my madden team) but it doesn't mean i like their philosophy on trying to pick up cheap penalties. THATS not the way the games meant to be played. I bet if manning wasn't so well liked and it were say.......romo or eli people would view it differently.
