Honestly man. Who cares what other people think. As long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters. Just enjoy him, wc or not, it's yours and whether it's cb or wc, it's still a beautiful ornate.
Hey Gonzo how big is yours now? How big when you got him and how fast did he grow on what diet?
Also He is a WC and today is the end of his first 24 hours in my tank and he is already eating hikari sinking pellets! I wish he could teach my Delhezi to do the same...
He was 8 in. When I got him 2 months ago, I've fed him mollies and freeze dried brine shrimp pressed into sinking pellet form and that's pretty much it, the only time I tried fresh market shrimp he ignored it for an hour.
As my sig says he's in a 60 ga, mine ate the pelleted brine shrimp immediately also. I think he is wild caught, but then again Aquascape did tell me he would be 6 inches and ended up being 8 inches. So they could be wrong or lying.
I don't really like the idea of it being WC because then one of these dino badass beauties would have been yanked out of its home and transported from Africa. Much prefer CB if I can get them. I still would be hypocritical and buy some of the more uncommon specie though, as I plan to next week lulz

I cut up some frozen silver sides yesterday and he ate those up pretty quick. I guess in the wild he is wasn't getting a lot of food so now he devouring everything he can (including my baby dojo loach ) which was to be expected I guess the other loach was moved into another tank to grow out in.
Edit: Dr. B I'll get you a picture of him here in a few minutes he is currently eating and being active.
