hey how big are your hujetas?
i have a hujeta in with my 2 tems

The hujeta's are 5-6". They are really cool but I think they might end us as dinner down the road for the Mono's, as may the pike.

cool my hujeta is about 5" but my tems are 3" i was afraid the hujeta would eat my tems but soon it will be the other way around.

Since I've put the mono's in the tank the hujeta's are trying to school with them.

I can;t believe how cool these bass are, I stayed up late last night staring at the little buggers.

i do that sometimes with my tems, but once they get their spots, i wont be sleeping for quite awhile

Now that's what I'm talking about. You guys really show appreciation for how amazing all our cichla are. After all that's why we are all here, because we LUURV THE CICHLA. You got some lovely looking monos there dude. Good luck with them.

The Pikes only chance is if he can hie really well. Unfortunately he's becoming buds with them and bumping up against the biggest mono. The Hujeta's have good size and the can get to 12" so you never know.

I've got a request in for a few large WC orange pikes as tankmates for these guys.

How big are your silver dollars and do the bass leave them alone? I like the red hooks and was thinking 4 would add a nice element to the tank.
