Picked up a couple guys in the tank labeled Midas....(so they say). Hoping one of these two will turn out to be a stunner.

They look good. Just keep 'em on a high quality diet of Hikari or NLS, something along those lines.
The most likely won't stay that color....... I've gone thru several and the always change colors. Probably get some patches of white or peachish.

Mine is about 5 to 6 inches and I got her at the same size as yours. I have had her since January. She is still a solid pinkish orange color. One pic is not too long after I got her (Feb 6). The other pic is from early May but her colors are the same now. And her eyes are still red too.
She is also a very nice tempered and curious fish so far. I have a female gold saum and a male convict in there and they know enough to stay out of her way. She rarely chases them and it is only briefly. Like I said, they know better.
And her name is Bertha (no relation to the current hurricane).
