New PetSmart tags reveal Blood Parrot parentage?

oh size for Parrots went up huh? That means petsmart were wrong before or wrong now? Either way they re wrong somehow and the ppl they hire know jack siht so what make you think the guy who print those label is a true cichlid genius. They are basically going offf what they heard also and Petsmart is a total mess if you wanna use them to guide you through fish knowledge.. C'mon now.

I honestly doubt any from Petsmart will reach 10", 8" on a rare occasion but 6-7 much more common.
I have one that is pushing 8 and the one that passed away was 8 inches, but I doubt they'd get bigger than that. Sounds about right to me. I've gotten all of mine except one from Petsmart one way or another, employee discounts are nice. B) Also I lack the tank space currently to purchase some kkp.

I'd honestly rather them put a higher number than a lower number, it helps to keep customers from buying them for 10 gallon tanks.

A lot of it depends on where the fish is coming from but the ones coming out in the last few years aren't the same as several years back.

Not entirely true. I got my blood parrot from petsmart about 1 year ago. He's already 6"+. Possibly even 8". btw this parrot fish is hella mean. Kicks the **** out of datnoids and jack dempseys even synodontis catfish. Btw ignore the light coloration, I found out my lights wash the color out of everything really bad. I have an enormous fixture. As soon as the lights turn off he's goes back to normal coloration.
