new pick up: goliath atf

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
depends on your tankmates too , if it doesnt get pick on , the fins i am not sure , used to have a vittatus ,his fray caudal finnage didnt heal back to normal

holy Gatf that's one beat up tiger. I hope he heals up you for you Best of luck!

If feed right and cared for they heal at a "super mutant" rate. I'd for sure have a nice amount of salt water salt in the tank. I keep it with mine at all times... More salt when damaged, Less salt when healed.

Even in that condition i still love the fish.. I had one with a bad eye, He was still the best fish i had at that time.

I'm not going to give you the "tank size speach" But if your tank is not atleast six foot long? I'd black both sides out with poster board. I do it to all my ATF tanks. It saves alot of ware on there snout. As you know there super fast and powerfull. Truely a oddity at nature. Best fish in the game period. Congrats!!

the same one is the one in front....

As long as it's not going to get picked on in your tank it will heal close to 100%. I have a 14" one now that was beaten far worse than yours was by old tank mates. Now that he is left alone he healed up 100% scales and fins. Mine's tail at one point was split all the way to the base of his tail and grew back at a super fast rate. Mine was being picked up badly by a 25" Tigrinus and 16" orino. Now that they are gone he is happy again. :)
