Give it some time.
FHs and Trimacs are not the Same.
A lot of ppl gonna say you cant tell but they are the ones who don't know how to look at the fish.
If you let a hybrid reach a good size, about 95% of the chance a keen judge can recognize it. Every fish not not all the same and so are human. When a person can't tell, they go and state it as a fact for the world. U assume it's hybrid unless you got it from some someone that was nice to them. What does that tell you about them?
And when you get a badazz Trimac from the lfs, PPL gonna HATE on your fish and say "oh if you didnt get it from mr so and so it's not a pure breed fish" But you never know who brought in the fish to the store. What if I got it from someone very trustworthy and knowledgeable and just brought it in the store for whatever reason? I don't use the internet! Not everyone uses internet along with their fish like us!
You dont see that problem with other cichlids. When they are hybrid you just see it. It takes 2 genes to make a hybrid.
There are A LOT of ZZ Flowerhorns that look like Trimacs but they will give that away eventually and VERY soon.
It is very rare that a FH look totally like a Trimac. But I believe it can happen.
So next time when you see a Trimac. Assume it a Trimac first. and not the other way around. Because FHs these days are hardcore.
