well, i dont beleive softy's need uvb, but im sure what your doing isnt hurting the turtle, as long as he isnt too stressed by being moved around so much. if he has a decrease in appettite or anything like that i would discontinue removing him from his aquarium.

Thanks for the advice, i think i may give him less but since i got him with a weak shell i thought i should do that but i am stopping soon, his appetite goes for the day when i do that but he eats when i am not around (or the food magically disappears- he has nothing in the tank)
