New pick ups!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It is really funny how our taste in fish intersect; I just got a Atabapo II from TUIC about 2 weeks ago. lol That is assuming you bought them knowing they where mis-labeled. I only say that cause I don't know if you ordered them online or not.

Man I'm jeaous. I'm pretty sure you remember my big guy died. I had hoped maybe when they where bigger they where more active. I had also hoped buying a group might inspire them to be more outgoing but so far IME it's a no. Can't wait to see the tank you set up for the Creni's.
I bought them online. I did buy them cause they mislabeled and cheaper than normally seen. So far really shy and finicky but will see how it goes.

Was it petzone where you got them from? They had those listed as Lepidota. Nice score either way. One species I haven’t had yet but always admired from afar.

What are you keeping them with long term?

By themselves. May move them with my trachycorystes catfish but the two will need to be adult size by then.

Mine is definitely finicky as well but he's always in the open and has taken the dominant position away from my Gephyrum and Hemibagrus Filamentus. Now that you've had them a little longer are they more outgoing? Mine's currently around 5 inches approx, how big are yours?

I don't know how your Trachys are but mine ate or attempted to eat and killed because of it every pike I've tried keeping with them. I only mention so you keep your eye on the Trachys if you do try cohabing them.
