I went into a really crappy lfs where i would normally never buy fish to get some air tubing...
I noticed they had a knife fish... I wasnt sure what kind it was but it just look really skinny so i decided it needed rescuing. Then I noticed they had another knife... a clown knife... ... both of them were being sold for 2 euros... so i figured screw it why not. And they had some of those bumblebee catfish for 2 euros aswell so i figured they kinda cute... so i bought 2...

so heres some pics... if anybody knows what kind of knife the silver one is please let me know...

yea i probably should have thought it through a lil better though cuz those knifefish cant stay together forever... ill prolly keep the bumble bees with the featherfin knife... and when the clown grows up ill put him in the big tank... n see if my snakeheads wont kill it this time...
 
isnt that silver knife an African Knife fish? I could be wrong though, probably am. Nice fish though, those cats look great.
 
african nice pickup, i bet the Clown outgrows every other fish in a month.
 
yea i agree its not an african. otherwise i wudnt have bought it. I had an african before... cool fish but too much of a pussy...

i bought this guy cuz it has the same shape as a P Afer... and the tank it was in was dark so i thought maybe it was one... but in the light i noticed it was silver...
im pretty sure its a notopterus notopterus... asian knifefish... or featherfin as they are called sometimes...
