It's like I said before it definatly isn't a african knife. notopterus notopterus do not have a dorsal fin.

the african knife is not a notopterus notopterus... its a Xenomystus nigri

notopterus notopterus is an asian and all the websites seem to agree that they can reach a 24" size but im sure it wont in a tank...

dont worry its nothing personal... but u gotta admit theres a lot of ppl on here who act all stubborn like they r right n then r wrong... which is why i make sure i do some research before i answer..
