OK! Still a neat pick up. What size tank is he going in if you keep him until he becomes an adult?
Not sure, if I goes all smooth, It will be in my 270g but I hope I could upgrade to a 360g in next 2 years or something.Arowana1;4502577; said:OK! Still a neat pick up. What size tank is he going in if you keep him until he becomes an adult?
they are kind of ugly, but that's part of what makes them unique and desirable...closest you can get to an arapaima that doesn't grow way too big, just wish they had red like gigas, too. Nonetheless, an awesome fish.McPhishy;4502233; said:I gotta be honest I think afros are pretty ugly, but this guy is actually kinda cute. Nice pick- up
Thanks, hopefully this one won't be as aggressive as my last big one.pwmin;4502797; said:glad you found one. Hopefully they'll be some more on the market soon

I gave up mine as is getting too big 28 inches very jumpy at times, this fish eats non stop sinking pellet whole day and poo so much water gets dirty just because of it.Hao;4502597; said:Not sure, if I goes all smooth, It will be in my 270g but I hope I could upgrade to a 360g in next 2 years or something.![]()

I don't think an 26"-28" African Aro would be dirtier than a 26"-28" AUL.ernest;4502932; said:I gave up mine as is getting too big 28 inches very jumpy at times, this fish eats non stop sinking pellet whole day and poo so much water gets dirty just because of it.
