All the unhappy things come together.
One of my stratias got beat up insanely bad...fungus growing on the scale.... No appetite for anything.... Body just lies around. Separated from the big bully...
How do I ensure the survival for him and a quick recovery?? First time having seen such a thing :( :( :(

My god just like my striata been beaten by his own sibling (I think). It just took about 3 hours become like this man. I tried to save him but it too late, he is already capsize but still breathing until he died. And my murderer striata already send to brother to keep him solo. Actually he already killed 4 of them and one of them been eaten by him.
You already seperated him right? I think just lower the water level to make him easier to breath. Ask your LFS there any other medication for injury, normally the medicine is in green colour. Hope this help.

He was beaten over night and while I was in school... He is now still very inactive. I have air bubbling

How many did you have in the tank and how big are they?

First I got 6, in 3 feet tank. The murderer one was the biggest (but not too big than others) about 1 and half inch at that time. In a week I got 2 lost with I'm not sure who does it. About a month I saw that muderer attack the smallest one. I don't think he will kill it but later the smallest one got inside in his mouth. And finally last week he kill another one that a lil bit smaller than him. And finally I've ask my brother to keep him and he want it. It's only one left with me. Actually my striatas is Thai spec. (Regarding to the seller). And it is really different in term of behavior with my previous one (the Malaysian spec). I've keep them since juvie also, but never been killing like this. Got 5 of them and the smallest one is still alive.

Salt as far as I know used for avoiding decease I think. For normal tank setup I put salt but not for recovering. I put only new water with medication bit (yellow colour but the water will turn out green). I'm not sure what they called but the pack printing in japanese. Before this I've used general aid Danios brand but not quite effective. Until someone tell me about the bit medication. Tomorrow I'll try to update you some pic of the pack.

Need to lock those lids up man sorry for the losses but yeah super tight lid. I have lost a few channa this way:(

I don't have a lid yet.. Didn't know they were such a jumper.
For the stratia. He's still alive through the night... He's one tough guy (first thing I did when I woke up is check on him) I'll go over and check with my lfs on the medication.
Bleheri still active as mad when I'm by the tank
