Went into a old lfs, ended up getting a 2ft rtc/tsn hybrid. along with 3 reddevils for 10$.

I'd say thats a pretty damn good deal.

I think its a good deal aswell.

you can look at it many different ways...

1. I bought my RTC for 30 bucks and he was 2.5"
2. You saved money on growing him out to that size.
3. How much would that fish normally cost?

of course its GOING to cost more money, but we all understand that.

He is thin, but I plan on beefing him up .

He broke like 3 barbless getting to my house and ripped his fins, but is healing up nice. hes actully the 4th biggest fish in that tank. Hes just under 2 feet.

my first 2 being an arowana and the 3rd being a Pbass.

i didn't say you'd get a good deal on a mastif. My point was the housing of the animal and how quickly it grows. as in it'd be small when you got it but within a few months it'd be walking you and eating like a horse, but people still get them and keep them thats because they love thier animals. same diff. got that, not talking the price of monster...

Not to mention 2ft hybrid cat isn't exactly on most peoples most wanted lists.. but no one gets it.. Horaay for the great deal!!

when they are that size they don't like being picked up and moved they tend to be a little grumpy,none the less kick ass fish keep us posted.
Wow i just noticed your aro while i was drooling over the rtcXtsn thats just a silver right? I just picked one up and i hope it looks that good when it grows up!!
