The ones caught in NY are true flounders, not sole.

they occasionally get Hogchokers to, but Flounder more common because Hogchokers have a tiny mouth so they cant grab an oversize bait.

They are pretty cool fish. I had one until i changed my tanks. He was so small and i was rushing to finish the move and I got out side dumped out all my sand went back inside and was like o S%*T my flounder, but it was to late. Mine used to love blood worms

I'm pretty sure that they'll eat fry and anything under 2'' long, but I'm guessing maybe fin nippers

i got two for $18 at my LFS but they only lasted 2 weeks i dont think they ate atleast i never saw them eat.
