Are you going to have to heat it in the winter?

nope.. some of my neighboors down the street just let there pond freeze over and it does just fine when it defrosts. but i might put an air pump in it so it dosnt freeze over.

nice, how long did it take to build and cycle? or is it cycled yet?

well it took a couple of days to dig it out and get all of the roots and rocks up.. then it took a day to lay the liner and under liner out and stack the rocks around it... its been running for 4 months now.
