I've not forgotten, I had some trouble with the main pond, some of the new main pond fish are going into the new pond for the winter, the problem I ran into was I planned to heat from November the 1st but the main pond went green as the UV bulb died, naturally I noticed and went to get the replacement bulb to find out I forgot to order it 6 months ago. Add a sunny week as I'm waiting for the bulb to arrive, then add the week to clear the pond to see the fish is the delay. The last part of the puzzle is in today as I've added the heater. I will be getting the fish move hopefully be the end of the week as the filters are ripping the algae from the main pond. Sorry for the delay

Should be an update this weekend, the weather has been shocking, for the first couple of weeks the insulation on the new pond was keeping it at a solid 4 degrees higher than the main pond. We have had some really cold nights recently and I turned the heater on Friday when the temp had gone down to 6.4 on the new pond. The lowest the heater goes to is 18 degrees and it is currently sat at 15.2, so although it's a lot higher, it's been going up slowly. Weather permitting I'll take the covers off this weekend for some pictures
