what did he hav in with it?
what do you?

He had... all malawians... s. fryeri, rubescence (sp?), OB, oh, and a Front... He said there were no marks on it though, just stiff as a board, and flat on its back.

Right now mine is in the 29g alone, but will be joined shortly by some Gold barbs, Cardinal tets, Rummy-nose tets, and eventually some blue rams.

I've had my QA since August. He's a happy little guy. Never had an ounce of trouble with him.
I feed him a mostly veg based diet with meat about twice a week.
He's fat and sassy.
Although, he's in an all-plec tank so he doesn't have to worry about being harrassed.

Really though, it's irrelevant, since he never leaves his little driftwood cave.

may have been a high pH, I think they like their water soft.

sounds great for a QA!

Depends what your friends conditions for it were, they aren't particularly sensitive, and easy to keep, just got to give them favourable water quality and conditions. They love worms, bloodworms dissappear very fast. Mine seem to be more of a fan of hikaris sinking catfish pellets, but they also get mysis and shrimp. I agree, mine loves peas, but never had one dine on cucumber or zucchini.

Well, a mute point once again... the QA went airborne sometime last night. I woke up to find him all dried out on the floor. :(

Either the water quality was awful or it got "chased" out the tank. Mind you all fish are jumpers, and I don't know why people don't have lids. Sorry about the QA, they are great fish. You get a pic beforehand?

The water quality was and is fine, and the meanest fish in the tank, is a school of neon tetras. I have a lid too. He somehow squeezed out of the back slit, that is no wider than an inch and a half.

I'll post a pic when I get home. Only got one of him.

lol i gaffer up the holes in the back, just to make sure it doesn't. I would say it is unusual that your fish did that though. Watch those neons though ;)

Here is that pic. I knew that I probably wouldn't see him much once he got in the tank, so I took one quick before I threw him in.

sure its a 260? Kind of looks like a 66... But I never owned either. Nice fish anyway.
