The dealer said it was rare so i had to pay 17 dollars for it
anyway its not very active but i am sure is pretty stressed right now.
can anyone id? it will be going in my 8' pond when it grows but for now its in the four footer.
tomorrow i leave to go fishing so when i get back (Monday) i will keep you updated. atm he is 10 inches to the tip of its tail.
it has slightly blue markings on the body. Man I am so thrilled!!!
This is my first ray so need info!!!
also i am afraid to put it in the pond because of the turtles, will they bother him or get stung?

I would start stuffing him full of food. Nice pickup.

Feed Feed Feed! Still like the pattern, but would like to see those pelvic bone's dissapear. Nice pick up...

THANK YOU!!! i fed it five 2-3 inch earthworms but it got dark and i cant find anymore. what should i feed it? the dealer said cardinal tetras but i think it to unhealthy to forage for food. i have cichlid pellets and feeders but i guess something else will be needed, FAST.
thanks for the advice!!!

A lot of people say that live blackworms are very helpful when trying to get stubborn rays to eat.

Looks kinda like my yepezi... but i'd stay with the earthworms for now until he's fattened up..

i keep reading these amazing stories about how people are getting great deals, and it makes me jealous. i havent had a one near me. i cant believe you only payed 17 dollars, thats dirt cheap for a ray.
